Really nice roast lunches served here on a Sunday. Love the homemade cakes too, reasonably priced grub and nice chilled out atmosphere.

Had the misfortune to stop off here for the Sunday carvery with the family. One of those places that looks great from the outside but seriously fails to deliver on the inside. Terrible service from staff who couldn't muster enough enthusiasm between them to raise a smile, plus terrible terrible food!! The Carvery was stone cold and everything was so salty I thought the chef had dropped the salt cellar into several pans. Incredibly salty mash potato, salty gravy, even salty Yorkshire puddings. Everything that wasn't over salted was bland. The Carvery was about £10 per head but included a dessert. We all chose not to have the dessert as we deemed it more of a threat than a treat after the main meal. Oh, and the only restaurant I've ever attended that had no diet soft drinks so we had to have tap water because we didn't want sugary drinks. Avoid at all costs would be my advice.
